MILLIONS ADDED THROUGH OUR DONATION MATCH

Donations made to youth shooting teams with the MidwayUSA Foundation are matched every month.

This year, we are offering a match to youth shooting teams with a MidwayUSA Foundation Team Endowment. Thanks to our generous donors, Larry and Brenda Potterfield, we have added millions to our shooting team’s endowments through a donation matching program. In 2023, we will be matching donations 1:1. Every shooting team that receives a donation or contributes to their MidwayUSA Foundation Team Endowment will earn a match. Matching dollars will be allocated the following month of the donation. Follow our Latest News Blog to be the first to know when donations are matched!

Here are ways to take advantage of the donation match.

• Conduct fundraisers like a bake sale, car wash or charity shoot & donate the proceeds to your team endowment 
• Ask friends and family to give directly to your team through our website
• Request FREE fundraising products, like guns, optics, or knives, from the MidwayUSA Foundation & use them to conduct a fundraiser 
• Find a generous donor with a passion for youth shooting sports to donate to your team 
• Seek out a partner organization near you and fundraise together
• Have supporters participate in our online auctions, winning bids support the endowment of their choice
• Watch for upcoming Foundation fundraising events that offer ways to win endowment dollars

The MidwayUSA Foundation is here to help youth shooting teams grow their endowment to ensure funding for the life of the team. The donation matching program is an excellent tool to assist that growth. Online donations can be made to every youth shooting team in our Team Endowment Program. Donations made through our website are safe, secure, and simple. Also, Larry and Brenda Potterfield cover all of our operating expenses, so 100% of every donation benefits the shooting team of the donor’s choice. MidwayUSA-Foundation-PDFs-1-1.pdf (midwayusafoundation.org) Our Annual Rockstar program rewards our youth shooting teams that actively grow their endowment throughout the year.   Asking for donations and conducting fundraisers can be hard work, and we hope that by awarding those actions, we can help motivate teams to raise money.  Plus, our matching program doubles that effort!  Every dollar contributed to a youth shooting team endowment is matched, dollar for dollar, in 2023.  In addition to our matching program, we offer unique ways a team’s community of supporters can help.  Free fundraising products provide great items for teams to conduct auctions or raffles.  Online auctions allow a supporter to bid and win an experience or product; that bid is a direct donation to the youth shooting team of the auction winner’s choice.  Plus, we match it!  And finally, registering and attending our special events is also a way community members can support their local youth shooting team.

Hello Coache's and Volunteers,

Membership registration for the 2023-2024 USAYESS shooting year is now open!

Membership runs from October 1 through September 30. In order to accommodate high schools, registration opens on August 1. However, the system will not allow an athlete to register for any team until the team they are registering for has at

least one approved Head Coach

(Approved means the Registration on USAYESS is complete, the Background Check has been returned, and the coach has completed the Abuse Prevention Systems training).

We ask that all head coaches please try to be registered by September 1 so that athletes are able to begin registering for the new season.

As a reminder, in accordance with the SafeSport Act, ALL adult Head Coaches, Assistant Coaches, and adult volunteers MUST be registered with USAYESS, pass a background check, and complete a qualifying Abuse Prevention Systems training. This is not just for head coaches, but ALL adults that are going to be interacting with the youth on your team.
